Considering it was free with the ham I can't really complain, but you get what you pay for!
It does the job of holding a ham, but it's not very sturdy. The cheap allen key that came with it stripped immediately; I recommend using a better tool to screw it together tight, or the stand will be very wobbly.
The knife seems OK as long as you keep sharpening it.
Considerando che era gratuito con il prosciutto non posso davvero lamentarmi, ma si ottiene quello che si paga! Si fa il lavoro di tenere un prosciutto, ma non è molto robusto. La chiave a brugola a buon mercato che è venuto con esso spogliato immediatamente, mi consiglia di utilizzare uno strumento migliore per avvitare insieme stretto, o lo stand sarà molto traballante. Il coltello sembra OK fino a quando si mantiene l'affilatura.
Very tasty ham indeed at a remarkable price. This is my first purchase of a whole ham (or in this case shoulder) so I wasn't entirely sure how much meat to expect, but I was a little disappointed in the amount that could be carved versus the amount of fat. I would say by weight about 30% of the shoulder was edible - but of course I have no idea if that's good or bad. Considering the low price of this ham I'm not too upset but I don't know how the value for money compares with other hams.
The taste is superb though - better than any that I've eaten in Spain. Don't expect it to last very long - next time I think we'll splash out for a proper ham instead of a shoulder!
Prosciutto molto saporito ad un prezzo davvero notevole. Questo è il mio primo acquisto di un prosciutto intero (o in questo caso, spalla), quindi non ero del tutto sicuro di quanta carne aspettarsi, ma ero un po 'deluso nella quantità che potrebbe essere scolpito in funzione della quantità di grasso. Direi, in peso, circa il 30% della spalla era commestibile - ma naturalmente non ho idea se è buono o cattivo. Considerando il prezzo basso di questo prosciutto non sto troppo sconvolta, ma non so come il rapporto qualità-prezzo si confronta con altri radioamatori. Il sapore è eccellente anche se - meglio di tutti quelli che ho mangiato in Spagna. Non aspettatevi che duri molto a lungo - la prossima volta penso che faremo schizzare fuori per un prosciutto corretta, invece di una spalla!
